950 KJR update anchor Brian Abker bites the head off of a herring on Northwest Wild Country on Saturday morning. Joel Shangle and crew were joined in studio by Edgar Hansen of the Northwestern boat from the Discovery Channel’s hit television series, The Deadliest Catch. This was step one of Abker’s quest to become a greenhorn on a crabbing vessel depicted on the show.
