    From watching the show since it started I always liked Phil Harris. He seemed to be what they call a big teady bear. He seemed mean and sometimes even harsh but I always knew he had a VERY big heart.

    I just could not believe my ears. I just could not hold my tears back. Needless to say I didn't make it to work that day.

    Every once in a while while I has at home I would just start crying and could not stop. I had never seen Phil in person but it was like losing a family member to me.

    Anyway I sure hope to see his kids take over his boat and look forward to see them on the show fishing soon. I hope Jake and Josh are hanging in there. These kinds of times are very hard to get thru sometimes.

    I also hope Jake is getting thru his addiction problems he has been having. Just remember Jake you have to do this for yourself first but you have to do it for your Dad also. You could always tell that Phil loved his kids very VERY much.

    Hang in there guys. It only gets better from this day onwards. I'm praying for you and Jake everyday.
